LifeWatch ERIC at BES 2023

Visit us at the BES Annual Meeting 2023!

LifeWatch ERIC is excited to announce its participation in the British Ecological Society’s (BES) Annual Meeting in Belfast, Northern Ireland, from December 12-15, 2023.

LifeWatch ERIC’s booth will be a central hub for disseminating information about our services, partnerships, and research initiatives, expected to be of the greatest value to early career researchers. Visitors can access LifeWatch ERIC’s analytical tools, speak with experts, and discover our biodiversity and ecosystem research projects.

You can find us at Stand no 3 in the Central Hall

Give us two minutes to fill in the questionnaire

We need your help and vision to better understand users’ priorities in biodiversity and ecosystem research. By completing this questionnaire, you will help the LifeWatch ERIC e-infrastructure develop the e-services you need to perform the best research.

LifeWatch ERIC for early career researchers.

This year, we have decided to focus our participation in BES on early career researchers. LifeWatch ERIC provides a range of services that junior researchers can benefit from. We also have a community where we gather opportunities from our projects and a collection of events and news dedicated to them. Take your work to the next level with our e-Science modelling and analytical tools!

Meet our speakers

Researchers from LifeWatch ERIC, the Italian National Research Council, and the University of Salento will present their findings on biodiversity loss, climate change, and invasive species. They will also discuss tools and strategies for monitoring land use and seascape changes and mitigating negative effects. The presentation will include insights into the world of 3D data tools for ecological research.

Let's stay in touch

We are constantly producing new content about our projects and services. We have an extensive news archive and produce new podcasts every week, open conversations with key infrastructure staff, with the scientists behind the validation cases and with other research institutes that have benefited from our Tesseract technologies in their studies of biodiversity and ecosystems in Europe.
